YouTube Live Alerts
New subscribers, Super Chats, Gifts and members can all become part of the show. YouTube Live Alerts turns that activity into animated notifications. Each type can have its own look, sound and position.
Type | When it appears |

Subscriber | A viewer subscribes to the channel. |
Super Chat | A viewer buys a Super Chat to highlight a live chat message. |
Gift | A viewer uses Jewels to send a Gift during an eligible horizontal or vertical live stream. |
Member | A viewer joins the channel through a monthly channel membership. |
Adding and Connecting to Alert Sources
- Click on Add Source then select YouTube Widgets ➔ YouTube Live Alerts.
- Right-click the Live Alerts source on your canvas to show the Properties window.
- Click on Authorize XSplit to use YouTube Live then follow the authorization steps. (Choose the channel used by your stream.)
- Leave Source on Automatic or select a scheduled or active event manually.

Property | What it changes |

Layout | Left, center or right alignment. |
Duration | Animation duration. |
Display Time | Time the alert remains visible. |
Animate in and Animate out | Entrance and exit animations. |
Preview | Shows the current alert design. |
Test Alert | Runs a sample alert. |
Choose Type before styling the source. The Customize tab contains visual options for the selected event and the Audio controls for its sound and volume.
