Capturing BlueStacks 5

Below are the steps you can follow so you can use XSplit Broadcaster to capture gameplay from BlueStacks 5. We recommend that these steps be followed in order.

Run XSplit Broadcaster, then select Add Source > Game Capture > Auto Detect

XSplit Broadcaster - Selecting "Auto Detect" from the Add Source's Game Capture Source menu

Run BlueStacks 5.

The app should automatically be captured by XSplit Broadcaster.

Tests have shown issues when capturing using DirectX. Although this guide focuses on the use of OpenGL, feel free to change this setting depending on what works on your system.
