Scene Widgets
Scene Widgets are designed to improve your XSplit Broadcaster scenes in various ways. These plugins add visual and functional enhancements to your presentation.
Go to Add Source > Scene Widgets
Color Matte
Gamepad Visualizer
Image Slideshow
Video Playlist
Whiteboard
Add plain colors or a color bar and place them anywhere to bring more life to your scenes using the built-in Color Matte Widget
Right-click the Color Matte source to bring up the source properties window.
Solid Color allows you to add any colors you want
Color Bars adds a generic combination of color bars, commonly used as test/no signal backgrounds on TV.
Add this source to your scene to show a visual of your gamepad inputs.

Visualize - Device
Here you can select the input device you want to use the Gamepad Visualizer with. It should automatically recognize gamepads already connected to your system, so long as they are recognized properly by Windows.
Appearance - Skin
Here you can select a skin that closely resembles the gamepad you are using, for a more accurate visual representation of your inputs in the scene.
Adds a function to create a slideshow of image files (JPEG, GIF, and PNG). You can customize and set effects and transitions for your slideshow.
Adding images to your Image Slideshow source
On the Add Image Slideshow settings window, click Add and select the images that you like to add into your image slideshow.
Select an image and click ▲ or ▼ to rearrange the order of your image slideshow. Being first at the top and last at the bottom.
Removing images from your Image Slideshow source
Right-click on your Image Slideshow source to open its settings window, then select the image file that you want to remove under the Images panel.
Click Remove.
Image Slideshow Settings
Transition
Select an effect for your slideshow how the current image switches to the next. Transition is set to None by default.
Transition Preview
Displays a preview of the transition effect currently selected.
Loop
Set whether to hide after the slideshow, stop at once, or it loops forever. Forever is set by default.
Interval
Set the time value (seconds) before the current image switches to the next.
Enable up to 60fps
Enables the slideshow to display at 60fps framerate settings. This option may require additional CPU/GPU resources.
Shuffle Images
Shuffles the order of your image files in the slideshow.
Remember playback position
Resumes the last image displayed in active scene.
Auto-refresh images
Refreshes the image file source when edit changes were made.
Add
Adds an image file to your Image Slideshow.
Remove
Removes an image file from your Image Slideshow.
Preview
Click to display a preview of the image file. Click on either left or right arrow buttons to view the previous/next image. Alternatively, you can double-click on your Image Slideshow to preview the images in your slideshow.
Adds a widget that allows you to create a playlist for multiple video files that can be automatically played in succession. You can customize the order and set video to repeat.
On the Add Video Playlist settings window, click Add and select the videos that you like to add into your Video Playlist.
Select a video and click ▲ or ▼ to to rearrange the order of your video playlist. Being first at the top and last at the bottom., then Click OK.
Removing videos from your Video Playlist source
Right-click on your Video Playlist source to open its settings window, then Select the video file that you want to remove under the Videos panel.
Click Remove.
Audio Output
Set the audio output to either System Sound or Stream Only. You can learn more about audio outputs here.
Start at
Sets the timecode when the selected video will start.
End at
Sets the timecode when the selected video will end.
Play
Set whether the video playlist or the selected video play only once, loop forever, or in custom (play more than once). Once is selected by default.
Force deinterlace
Enable to convert interlaced frames into non-interlaced which minimizes the lines showing up in your video. This option pop up once a video is selected under Videos playlist panel.
Add
Adds a video file to your Video Playlist.
Remove
Removes a video file from your Video Playlist.
The Whiteboard widget adds an interactive flash function that allows you to make annotations as an overlay.
Adding the Whiteboard source
Once added as a source, you will be prompted with a Right click to view instructions info display after adding the widget.
Use the left-click button and drag to draw on the viewport.
Tool
Select which tool or drawing instrument you’ll use. Freehand is currently the only selectable tool available and by default. You can use the Shapes tool by holding the Shift button while drawing shapes.
Size
Select the size of your marker line whether thin, normal, or thick.
Color
Select the color of your marker line.
Clear Whiteboard
Lets you clear all of your scribbles on the viewport. This can also be done by pressing the Esc hotkey.
Use the hotkeys when the source is selected:
S
Press S key to toggle between sizes (Small / Medium / Large)
Shift
Hold Shift key to use alternate tool Shapes : Freeform > Shape Detect (circle, triangle, square, rectangle)
D
Press D key to save current drawing.
Esc
Press Esc key to clear whiteboard.
