Hiding XSplit Broadcaster From Desktop Capture

XSplit Broadcaster's Desktop Capture allows you to add your display as a source in your presentation. By default, it will show everything in your screen, including XSplit Broadcaster's own program window.

For users working with limited display options (e.g. Single display monitor), this can be a nuisance as you will have to constantly be switching on and off the XSplit Broadcaster app and your actual source presentation.

Fortunately, it's possible to hide XSplit Broadcaster to prevent it from showing up in your Desktop Capture source.

Follow these steps:

Go to Tools > Settings.

Highlighting Settings under the Tools Menu in XSplit Broadcaster

Under the General tab, Check Hide XSplit Broadcaster from display capture.

Checking "Hide XSplit Broadcaster from display capture" under the General tab in XSplit Broadcaster's Settings.

Click Apply then OK.

The process of hiding XSplit Broadcaster from display capture

With this feature enabled, XSplit Broadcaster should stay hidden in your Desktop Capture source.

Enabling this feature also hides XSplit Broadcaster from other applications which use similar display capture technology.
