XSplit VCam (Windows) System Requirements

Windows 10/11 64-bit OS with the latest Intel, AMD or NVIDIA graphics drivers.


Older versions of XSplit VCam may work on Windows 8.1 and below, but we no longer officially support these OS.



Hardware (for Windows Desktop)


Standard Quality

  • 4th generation Intel i5 CPU or Ryzen 5 (2nd Gen+) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel HD 530+ / Nvidia GTX 850+ / AMD R260+ (GPU acceleration)


High Quality

  • 5th generation Intel i7 CPU or Ryzen 5-7 (3nd Gen+) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel HD 530+ / Nvidia GTX 950+ / AMD Radeon RX 460+ (GPU acceleration)


Highest Quality

  • 8th generation Intel i7 CPU or Ryzen 7 (3rd Gen+) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel UHD 630+ / Nvidia GTX 1060+ / AMD Radeon RX 580+ (GPU acceleration)

Highest Quality

  • Intel 10th i7-1065G7 (Intel IceLake) OR 8th gen Intel i7 (>= 30w TDP) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7+ / High end mobile Nvidia or AMD discrete GPU (GPU acceleration)



For Intel 6th gen + desktop machines with discrete GPU running games at the same time as VCam, it is recommended to enable Intel HD graphics in BIOS and select HD graphics in Settings > Hardware Acceleration Options.
