VCam Application Settings
These settings allow you to change the way the program works for you and your system, for the best possible VCam experience.
To access the VCam Settings, click the gear icon at the upper-right corner of the app. This should take you straight to the app settings.
Alternatively, you can click the drop down arrow next to your name then select Settings.
General
Show Virtual Cameras (experimental)
- Allows you to show other virtual camera applications for use with XSplit VCam.
Launch XSplit VCam on startup (VCam Windows only)
- Auto-starts XSplit VCam when you boot up your computer
Close XSplit VCam to tray (VCam Windows only)
- Enable this to minimize VCam to your taskbar tray when the Close button is pressed. Disabling this will close VCam entirely when you click the Close button.
Performance
Hardware Acceleration
Automatic
- Enabled by default, this allows XSplit VCam to automatically choose which graphics processor it will use, based on which is used the least at the moment. Disable this to allow the manual changing of the Primary and Secondary Processor.
Primary and Secondary Processor
- Allows you to manually determine which processor XSplit VCam will utilize first over the other.
Can only be changed when Hardware accleration
Calibration
- Runs XSplit VCam's Calibration to ensure the settings are optimized based on your system.
Screenshots
Local Files
- Allows you quick access to XSplit VCam's local files where the screenshots you made using XSplit VCam are located in your computer
Offline Image
General
Enable VCam image on camera initialization
- Enabling this displays the XSplit VCam logo whenever your camera initializes. Disable this feature to show a black screen instead.

- Choose from a variety of language settings for XSplit VCam:
