Release Notes (July 2025 Release)
We are pleased to announce the release of XSplit Broadcaster version 4.5.2507.0105. This update introduces native streaming to Kick, expands professional-grade streaming protocol support, enhances video encoding performance, and resolves a number of issues to improve stability and user experience.
Release Highlights
This month’s release is packed with significant updates for creators looking to expand their reach and enhance their production quality.
Kick Streaming Integration
You can now stream directly to Kick without any manual configuration. The new Kick output plugin allows you to simply log in with your Kick account, set your stream title and category, and go live, all from within XSplit Broadcaster.
Expanded SRT Support
Building on our recent introduction of Secure Reliable Transport (SRT), we have now added SRT support to the YouTube Live and CDNvideo output plugins. This protocol provides a more resilient and low-latency stream, ensuring higher quality and stability even over challenging network conditions.
Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting Upgrades
We've made significant improvements to the Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting feature. This update adds support for High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC/H.265) for users with modern NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. This allows for higher-quality video at the same bitrate.
Core Performance and Stability
This release also includes important under-the-hood changes that improve application startup time and overall stability. A significant number of bug fixes have been implemented to address issues across the audio mixer, various streaming outputs, and core application functions, ensuring a smoother experience for all users.
