New XSplit Infrastructure Launch FAQ

A Faster, More Stable XSplit is Here!

We've upgraded our core platform to give you a better XSplit experience with improved stability, faster logins, and quicker startup times. This guide answers key questions to ensure a smooth transition.

This article will be updated regularly as new information becomes available.

I already have a Premium License, what do I need to do?

If you purchased or redeemed your license before Sep 3 2025 then please uninstall XSplit Broadcaster and then download and install the Legacy version.

You can also switch between to the Legacy infrastructure by editing registry keys. Click here for more information.

This is a temporary step. We want to assure you that you will not be stuck on the Legacy version. We are actively working on migrating all existing licenses to our new infrastructure, and we will provide updates on this process.

Can I still log in using my email address?

Yes, you can still log in with your email address. We've updated our login process to be more secure and convenient. Instead of a password, you will now receive a one-time confirmation code to your email.

Simply enter your email address and click Get Code. Then, check your inbox for the code and enter it in the XSplit login window to sign in.

How do I switch back to the Legacy infrastructure?

We strongly recommend all users stay on the new infrastructure for the best performance and latest updates. The legacy option is a temporary fallback for troubleshooting and will be retired in the future.
