Release Notes (December 2025 Release)

To wrap up the year, we’re rolling out one more XSplit Broadcaster update. This release brings a refresh to the top bar controls and Multi Output Mode.

Release Highlights

Multi Output Mode

Multi Output Mode lets you send different layouts to multiple outputs at the same time. You can build a horizontal canvas for your main broadcast and a vertical version for mobile viewers without juggling separate scenes or duplicate sources. Both canvases share the same Scene and Source List, so you manage one set of sources while adjusting layout and visibility per canvas.

UI and Top Bar Improvements

The Stream controls have been updated to better match Multi Output workflows. The Stream button now uses a drop-down menu where you can select one or more outputs, then start them together with a single click. Resolution controls have moved to each canvas, which makes it easier to set different resolutions and aspect ratios between layouts.

For those of you who have been with us since the earlier Beta release, we've further refined some UI behavior. Top bar hints now behave more consistently, the Stream button drop-down no longer closes after each selection and the bottom panel height now persists correctly between sessions.

Expanded SRT Support

Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) streaming continues to grow in this release. Building on earlier support for Amazon IVS and Custom Stream, SRT is now available for Vimeo and Restream.io Outputs.
