We are pleased to announce the latest update to XSplit Broadcaster. This release adds native streaming to Vimeo, includes updates for our new infrastructure, and delivers stability fixes across streaming, audio, recording, and core UI.

This month’s release is packed with significant updates for creators looking to expand their reach and enhance their production quality.

Vimeo Streaming Integration

Streaming to Vimeo is now easier than ever. The new output plugin allows you to log in with your Vimeo account directly within XSplit Broadcaster. Simply select your scheduled event from the list and go live without any manual configuration.

New XSplit Infrastructure

Broadcaster now runs on our upgraded platform for faster logins, quicker startup, and improved overall stability. The app and features remain the same. All changes are to the backend that handles sign-in and licensing.

• Vimeo Output: Added a new native output plugin for Vimeo, allowing for direct account authentication and live event selection without requiring manual RTMP configuration.

Core & Infrastructure

• New XSplit Infrastructure: Updated Broadcaster to support the new XSplit infrastructure for improved stability and authentication.

Bug Fixes

Streaming Outputs

• Broadcaster now notifies you if a required output plugin is missing during channel import.
• Fixed an issue in the Kick output plugin where stream restrictions could cause a stream to restart.

General & Core Application

• Fixed an issue that prevented RTMP sources from being muted when WASAPI is enabled.
• Corrected a mismatched icon for Default Speakers in the Audio Mixer.
• Fixed an issue where the Local Recording button on the Top Control Bar would not function when a non-default Local Recording output was active.
• Fixed an issue where a Webpage source would not adhere to the selected language.
• Fixed an issue where the DEL button was not working to delete a Scene.
