Release Notes (May 2025 Release)

Release Highlights
Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) streaming
Send low-latency, packet-loss–resilient feeds straight from Broadcaster: SRT is now built into the Amazon IVS and Custom Stream outputs. One toggle swaps your RTMP URL for SRT, letting you maintain quality even on unstable networks. Support for YouTube Live and CDNvideo is already in testing, so you’ll soon be able to push the same rock-solid signal to more destinations.

Under-the-hood optimizations
Broadcaster now starts faster, downloads less, and comes pre-packed with the essentials—thanks to a new resource-handling pipeline. These changes reduce bandwidth, tidy up menus (News now opens in your browser; logs zip locally), and lay the groundwork for even bigger updates we have in the works.
