# Twitch: Dual Format Streaming

Twitch's new Dual Format Streaming feature allows you to broadcast both a traditional horizontal stream for web and a mobile-optimized vertical stream at the same time.
This guide will walk you through how to set up Dual Format streaming on Twitch with XSplit Broadcaster.

## Requirements

| Video tracks | 2 tracks: one 16:9 horizontal and one 9:16 vertical | 2 tracks: one 16:9 horizontal and one 9:16 vertical |
| Transcoding | Full quality ladder for both streams | Full quality ladder for both streams |
| Vertical canvas | 1080 × 1920 | 1080 × 1920 |
|| **2K (1440p) note:** Only the horizontal stream will be broadcast at 1440p.

## Setting up Dual Format Streaming

1. [ **Switch to Multi Output Mode** ](https://support.xsplit.com/en/article/get-started-with-multi-output-mode-85j8r/)

   On the upper-right drop-down, select **Multi Output Mode**. Change **Output 2**'s resolution to 1080 x 1920 (16:9).

2. **Enable Dual Format in Twitch Properties**

   In your [Twitch Properties](/en/article/streaming-to-twitch-1n3sqay/), enable [Enhanced Broadcasting](https://support.xsplit.com/en/article/twitch-enhanced-broadcasting-17ajsco/) then **Dual Format**.

3. **Start your Dual Format stream**

   Click on the **Stream button** to start Dual Format streaming.
