# Streaming to Vimeo

Vimeo is the leading all-in-one video platform for professionals, creators, and businesses to showcase their work with high-quality, ad-free video. Streaming to Vimeo allows you to connect with a dedicated community that values professional content. This guide will walk you through setting up your XSplit Broadcaster to go live on Vimeo.

#### Prerequisites
Before you begin, please ensure you have an active Vimeo account with live streaming capabilities.

### Setting up your Vimeo Output

1. Go to **Broadcast** → **Set up a new output** → **Vimeo**.

|| The Vimeo output plugin should be installed by default. If it isn't listed, install it via the [Plugin Store](/en/article/tools-menu-gr1r4h/) : **Broadcast** → **Set up a new output** → **Find more outputs** *or* **Tools** → **Plugin Store**.

2. On the Vimeo properties window, click **Authorize**.

3. XSplit will open your browser window to request permissions. Click **Allow** to continue.

4. On the Vimeo properties window, click **OK** to finish set up.

### Starting your Vimeo Livestream

1. Begin streaming by clicking the **Stream** button (or by selecting your **Vimeo output** from the **Broadcast** menu).

2. Enter your title and stream title in the *pre-stream dialog* that appears then click **Start Broadcast**.
