Plus, we have a set of fixes across My Recordings, the In-game HUD, Multi Output Mode and the Preview Editor. A lot of our work right now is going into UI and UX improvements for the main window and upcoming changes to tools like the Preview Editor. Stay tuned! --- # **Release Highlights** ### Spout2 Source ![Straight from VTube Studio through the new Spout2 source!](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/5/6/7/5/567507547fcdcc00/spout2-single_14p1fdz.png) We added a new **Spout2 Source** that will mainly interest VTubers and creators using apps that can send video frames over Spout2. You can add it from: **Add Source → Video/Network Stream → Spout2** It is currently tagged as **BETA**, but it has full functionality. We're still doing small tweaks and want real-world feedback from active setups. If you run into issues or have suggestions, send them our way through our [Discord community](https://discord.com/invite/xsplit) or via the Support Chat on the website and Helpdesk. --- ## XSplit Broadcaster 4.5.2601.2702 ### **Features & Improvements** * Added a new Spout2 Source option for Spout2-based VTuber and overlay workflows. * Change way to rename scene in main window. ### **Bug Fixes** * Fixed an issue where **Upload to YouTube** in **My Recordings** could trigger a reauthorization even if the same account was already authorized in the Sharing tab. * Fixed an issue where **In-game HUD** stream info was not updating. * Fixed Multi Output sizing behavior for source plugins, including: * Facebook Live Reactions Poll/Counter * Facebook Post Reactions * Twitch Cheers Alert * YouTube Super Chat Alert * Fixed an issue where the **Preview Editor** preset menu would not close when clicking on another UI element. ## XSplit Broadcaster 4.5.2601.1401 ### **Bug Fixes** * Fixed a dead link from the **Optimize for web** tooltip in **My Recordings**. * **Niconico:** Migrated embedded browser authentication to external browser authentication. * Fixed an issue where some extra encoding settings could not be reconfigured. * Adjusted **NDI®** labels to follow licensing guidelines. * Fixed an issue where the Scene panel width did not adjust when making the app window smaller. * Fixed a random crash. * Fixed an issue where **XSplit Game Bar HUD** could not detect XSplit Broadcaster. * Disabled **Layout Wizard** in Multi Output mode. * Fixed an issue where a background source would not maximize itself in Output 2. * Fixed a crash in UWP screen capture. * Fixed cuepoints not working for XSplit Express Video Editor. * Fixed an issue where changes could be lost in **Preview Editor** after push. * Fixed webpage source sizing behavior where flicker could occur on scene change. ## XSplit Broadcaster 4.5.2512.0304 ### **Features and Improvements** **Streaming and Outputs** * Updated Dailymotion to use external browser authentication instead of an embedded browser window for a more reliable login flow. * Added output selection for NDI Playout while using Multi Output mode, so you can choose which layouts are sent to NDI receivers. * Added output selection for Projector when Multi Output mode is active, useful for routing specific layouts to projectors or monitor screens during tests. * Added SRT as a streaming protocol option for Vimeo output. ### **Bug Fixes** **Multi Output and UI** * Fixed an issue where webpage sources on Output 2 in Multi Output mode appeared distorted regardless of resolution. * Fixed an issue where multiple top bar drop-downs could show the “nothing” hint text at the same time. * Fixed an issue where the bottom panel height did not persist across app sessions on the new infrastructure. * Updated the Stream button drop-down so it no longer closes after each item click. **General and Core Application** * Fixed an issue where the “Learn more about Luma Transitions” link did not open correctly in a browser. * Fixed a problem where the Scale to fit option in layout settings did not work as expected in some cases. **Streaming Outputs** * Fixed a Vimeo error that could appear after authentication for specific accounts. * Fixed an issue where stopping a Twitch WHIP stream in a Custom Stream output could result in an error. **Sources** * Removed the Skype source from the Layout Wizard’s source drop-down (matching the removal of Skype source integration in the app). ## XSplit Broadcaster 4.5.2511.1103 ### **Features and Improvements** **Streaming and Protocols** * Added SRT protocol support to the Restream.io output. * Added RTSP support to the CDNvideo output for workflows that require RTSP push streaming. * Twitch Dual Format streaming integration (see Multi Output Mode) **Multi Output Mode and Infrastructure** * Updated the authentication handler used by outputs to improve stability and error handling. * Updated the Layout Wizard – Solo Presentation item with revised defaults for common single-presenter layouts. ### **Bug Fixes** **General and Core Application** * Fixed an issue where associated file types would not open or load correctly when Broadcaster was running in administrator mode. * Fixed a problem where enhanced logging could skip some log entries from broadcast plugins. * Fixed an issue that could cause the app to close on launch in specific environments. * Fixed issues in audio and video device handlers, including updates for CPU and GPU modes, RTMP source handling and x264 encoder behavior. * Fixed an exception that could occur when loading a presentation that contained saved resolutions before the resolution menu was opened. * Fixed a problem where hide icons on preset 3 did not update their visual state when clicked. * Fixed a NullReferenceException that could appear when opening the Record menu while a stream was already active. * Completed removal of the Skype source integration in the core app and UI. **Streaming Outputs** * Fixed cases where the pre-stream dialog appeared multiple times when cancelling multistream sessions that used outputs with pre-stream dialogs. * Fixed handling for Vimeo rate limit errors. * Fixed a Vimeo issue where specifying a stream title could result in an invalid_parameters error. * Fixed an issue where the *Enable lookahead option* in the user interface did not apply correctly to encoder settings. * Corrected lookahead parameters for Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting streams using the NVENC encoder. **Audio Mixer and Devices** * Fixed an issue where volume level changes in the Audio Mixer were not saved after relaunch. * Improved stability when audio and video devices are added, removed, or changed while the app is running. * Fixed an issue where an MP3 audio codec being incorrectly available and causing an exception when selected. --- Some issues in XSplit Broadcaster are currently being investigated or rely on external updates.
