# Hiding XSplit Broadcaster From Desktop Capture

XSplit Broadcaster's [Desktop Capture](/en/article/desktop-capture-1n3rg9u/) allows you to add your display as a source in your presentation. By default, it will show everything in your screen, including XSplit Broadcaster's own program window.

For users working with **limited display options** (e.g. Single display monitor), this can be a nuisance as you will have to constantly be switching on and off the XSplit Broadcaster app and your actual source presentation.

---

Fortunately, it's possible to **hide XSplit Broadcaster to prevent it from showing up in your Desktop Capture source**.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to **Tools > Settings.**

3. Click **Apply** then **OK**.

With this feature enabled, XSplit Broadcaster should stay hidden in your Desktop Capture source.

||| Enabling this feature also hides XSplit Broadcaster from other applications which use similar display capture technology.
